Our special collections materials are for in-house viewing only. To study items from the collection, please contact aaelspecialcollections@umich.edu.

Where to view materials  

In-house viewing takes place in our special collections area in the basement of the Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library, which is located inside the Duderstadt Center on North Campus. We’re in room B240.  

Viewing artists’ books. The materials featured in our database of artists' books require careful handling and are only available for on-site viewing. Please contact artistsbooks@umich.edu for more information.
