Digital Library Applications

Who we are

What we do

We’re focused on the development of applications that enable digital preservation and access. This includes software for storing, searching and using content; creating and managing collections of content; and interoperating with other systems. Principles that guide our work are sustainability of solutions and longevity of content.

What we’re working on

Services and projects we are working on include Dark Blue, Deep Blue, Digital Collections, Fulcrum, Library Search, and the Digital Object Repository (DOR).

Within the library, we collaborate regularly with Digital Content and Collections and Michigan Publishing

We also participate in partnerships with open source communities including Samvera, DSpace, IIIF (International Image Interoperability Framework), and Fedora.
